Nope these are various ammunition types Including some of everything

I think the term is Large Cal^-^

Large Cals would be the 2nd biggest round .50 BMG in this pic
Not ideal unless your snipping Or using a Browning .50cal turrent :D
Would go through about : 8+ people Easy

Now I think your looking for some full sized rifle rounds like that 30-06 right before the 50BMG
Would go through 2 people but firearms would be over powered unless your also sniping ^-^
Would be fine if its needed to Kill very large foes like 8ft tall werewolves or something :D or very heavily armored infantry
and our your users are very built :D

.308Win rounds (7.62x51mm) are well in stopping power and size
You have a gun in .308 You mean business ^-^
1+ people or 1 person with good body armor *excluding dragon skin*

Thats my call ^-^

so 7.62 would be counted as a high cal round? doesnt the ak 47 shoot those kind of rounds?
Reply
:iconsouzousha:
Souzousha Featured By Owner Mar 27, 2010  Hobbyist Digital Artist
Um no theres many 7.62 rounds But none count as high cal rounds
Well its a little difficult to explain but here I go ^-^

The 7.62 is some what of the Ideal sized projectile
Its not to small and not to big Perfect for most roles

many guns shoot a round like this or very close to it Example: 8MM
Sine when talking about bullets the 7.62 is in MM to measure the size of the round

now the bullet size is almost identical in many rounds that are diffrent
7.62x39mm (intermediate round)
7.62x51mm Nato (full sized rifle round)
7.62x54R (full sized rifle round)
Ect
they all have the same 7.62 top But there shell are different sizes 39mm / 51mm / 54mm Rimmed
the bigger the mm number is the taller the case is to hold powder :D
Intermediate rounds - are around 40mm long give or take 10mm - made for urban conflict 200-300 meters
Full sized rifle rounds - are around 50 - 70 maybe a bit more - made for distant combat 800meters
Hight cal rounds are well into 100+ :D - sniping - 1-2 miles

So yes the AK-47 Fires 7.62 rounds ( x39mm) but there smaller rounds compared to the M14s 7.62x51 which are 12mm longer

AK 47 Is an assault rifle made for urban combat So larger bullets are not needed in street to street fighting :meow:
and having rounds able to go through homes are not ideal :D

there we go :D

Yeah I see many many guns and out of those uncommon rounds I havent seen anything that fires them yet^-^ Not that I would buy them I only get guns where ammo is more available ^-^

as for 223 and 7.62x39 lots of guns use those calibers There vary popular and cheep and fun to shoot ^-^
I would have a 20Guage round in the pic but I havent fixed my 20guage shotgun yet so I havent bought ammo for it yet XP

thanks! I know skipper pretty well and supported him on his PMG efforts,

i picked up something special once:
haha one day i was shooting at a metal target about 50yards down range with my .308 well..i guess its registered to my dad but he gave it to me....and i heard it hit the target and i felt something whiz by my ear and i look behind me and a bullet is lodged right in the back of the wooden shelter i was shooting from....i still have the bullet its half mushroomed out and its a good memento of my shooting adventures haha

Wow I wouldnt like to be shooting a heavier cal gun that close at a metal target
my ranges targets are made of wood so them ricocheting back is almost none

As for having mushrooms I shot my .22 at a can of dirt and collect them when in done Lots of them i have, many different ways they form, Could even tell how they hit the can and if anything else they hit after that

but none of the larger bullets Cant shoot those in a controlled area and retrieve the round

yeah These are all rounds that I have for my current gun or random lose ammo i find ,I dont have a 308Win (7.62x51) gun so Im not going to buy a box of it Its expensive and finding loose ammo of it is imposable
in addition to other calibers But I just put what I have :meow:

Been looking into a .50BMG I could just get the $9000 Beretta semi auto but I would get a new gun for Years XC so I might just get a single shot insted ^-^

btw ive never seen a beretta .50..... have you seen my drawing of an m32 grenade launcher?

well Barrett, I know hundreds of guns and get those two names mixed up a lot

I wouldnt spend that much in ammo I would keep a lot of it if they ever started banning .50cals and regulated supplies of ammo Maybe just a dozen rounds a year Id shot Rather spend the money on more guns then literally burning it ^-^

Yeah I seen it If you ever need to edit the text or change the pic theres an option on the side of the page that allows you to re edit the page Really helpful if you want to add new info about the weapon or want to edit a part of the gun ^-^

Nice, ive shopt almost all those bullets up there except the 37mm, that is a non lethal one right? ohh and even a .223 will go through a few people. 20mm have a hell of a lot of recoil! nice collection though

:meow:Well IDK if you shot All of them, Theres some crazy rounds up there that Finding a rifle that fires them would be almost imposable Especially the 50-70 round,20mm, and the ones I havent labeled yet. Finding the guns to those would be extreamly difficult and expensive to do such
Most of the more modern rounds yeah. Many weapons fire those calibers So having shot all the modern ones could be easily done^-^

IDK about the .223 its less powerful then the 5.56x45 NATO round Im sure the AP 5.56x45 NATO Round would go through a person or two
(the .223 and 5.56x45 both are the same sized bullet and fragment inside of a body because there small and tumble in flight)
Something larger like a 308 or 30-06 would easily do that :D

Yeah its a 37mm (for now I can only have Smoke, Flares, & Gas rounds) But to Legally have Nonlethal wooden baton rounds or beanbag rounds I have to register it as a Class 3 Destructive Device and pay tax stamps too XP to much trouble for me

yeah i shot a 20mm from anzio ironworks at a gun show in 2007, the guys there bring in machineguns, assault rifles, submachineguns, even some auto pistols. haha wooden baton rounds? sounds like it'd hurt!

Alright thats awesome :D all there are here is a gun show every often But nothing like a bunch of people with bad ass guns

Yeah the 37mm would be great as an anti riot weapon

Since I haven't registered it to shot anti riot rounds I cant legally do so
But screw that $15 flares is to much I shot wooden dowels from it with small powder charges ,Fun as hell and cost almost nothing ^-^

Well theres 37mm cannon rounds that are a foot tall But this is the 37mm equivalent of the 40mm round

37mm flare looks the same just X2 longer and brown, rounds are about 14$ XP

ammunition for the m16 what does green color tip mean?
Reply
:iconsouzousha:
Souzousha Featured By Owner Feb 11, 2010  Hobbyist Digital Artist
a Green tip 5.56x45 NATO round you mean

A Green Tip means it has a steel core (normal rounds *FMJ* have lead which is soft)
refereed to as AP Armor Piercing Rounds Because they penetrate more the the FMJ do

Illegal in most places (Not were im at ^-^ Box of 20rds = $15 )
But would wear out your AR-15 guns (there made for M16 not AR-15):meow:

Welcome

yeah thats NATO then the dont make .223 AP rounds it be a 5.56X45 NATO AP round
The army (and the rest of our forces) dont use 223rem thats the civilian version of the 5.56Nato its less powerful but the exact same shape

Yeah, my personal fav was a pump shotgun that was about as big as I was tall. It was awesome
