Trying to imagine how a 870 shotgun would look like once I put all the components together.
In the realms of shotguns you have 3 choices to chose from [Mossberg] - [Remington] - [Everything Else]
Everything else is the good & the bad, Its just Remington & Mossberg (including Maverick) physically out number the rest by a lot.
I personally am a Mossberg Owner (First shotgun was a Maverick 88) a Mossberg 500 clone, a second Model 88 later & I finally purchased a genuine Mossberg (Model 500ATP Wood Furniture 7+1 / 12GA)
This doesn't mean I dislike Remington 870 shotguns, Its just I haven't bought one yet, There excellent guns, Anyone saying one is better then the other doesn't truly appreciate quality shotguns, There's a lot of crappy shotguns out there (Foreign made) that these people should spend there time bashing on instead of domestic made ones. *Chinese MADE CLONES*
Anyways time is May 2013, 18in home defense barrels are hard to find and pricy for a 870, So I am about to purchase a standard 26+ something long barrel 870, Put on a Speed Feed grip which mimics a Sawed Off style accurately & Legally (in my state) & add a +5 capacity tubular magazine extension (also legal in my state) to make it a more appealing weapon for self defense.
AND THIS IS MORE OR LESS WHAT IT WILL LOOK LIKE WHEN TOGETHER :3 Estimated amount spent about 275$
