You do know that a barrel would slow the bullet down making it non lethal at standard range?

Naw bro, look at the thompson. Things like this are rather common, look at the p08 artillery luger.  Also, if the gun was blowback, the thing wouldn't have a locked breech and kinda explode open when shot due to the mass of the bullet and newton's third . If the breech locked in the standard 1911 config, it wouldn't even open up to cycle due to the mass of the barrel (the barrel has to tilt upward to unlock the slide). In this case, a true blowback/fixed barrel, rotating barrel, or straight short recoil would be more feasable.

I would like proof to your claims. Besides that I Strongly argue other wise

on my behalf I call this a old drawing, but still plausible, Im sure it would be lethal. (at any range of effectiveness But not getting out of hand and asking anything past common sense range for a SMG

in my claim all existing smgs like the Tommy gun (especially civilian versions of smg as  they have much longer barrels) cx4, m1a1 thopson ? tommy, cai sterlings, even my rpk as a rifle has higher velocity that its standard copy

as well as my 20 something pulse barrel sterling rifle which having a longer barrel then military issued sterlings & IMOP does not slow it down But in fact increases the speed and stopping power.

any longer (like a 40" & maybe but 16-25 something in barrel & im say its only packing more of a punch,

summary im say it will kill 1ft - 100 something yards pluse like any other SMG, and if theres anything slowing the bullet down I bet its not going to be the barrel.

feel free to fav btw O3O

the reason that long barrel would not work is because of friction. A .45 calliber is one of the slowest bullets due to its shape and mass, which is why it has good stopping power because it does not have the energy to completly pass through the human body. The added friction of the long barrel would slow the bullet down to non lethal speeds.

Sorry but physics wins all battles.

I'm not going to waste my time anymore trying to defend reality of firearms from the likes of you, When your conflicting yourself,Saying it punches into them Doesn't exit & has good stopping power, But then its Not Lethal. Wow.

I'm go be productive & draw more guns you will not approve of, Sorry is my right to do so.

don't respond back, Really. its your 1st amendment right to claim its not Lethal , But I not putting up with any of this, One dog owning 100 page view random person bashing my sketches is not going to take up my whole week.

This is absolutely insane.
It looks really cool but it seems to be very impractical.

very sweet concept. I'm curious, what is beneath the mag? Just an extension? Cool looking, was wondering how that would work if put into production, how the ammo would feed into the barrel. Anyways, Cool shit
