Please Note: This is not an actual firearm design But my resemble existing designs only in outside appearance, To have to weapons the "Same" in there appearance and inside engineering is extreamly un likely

Caliber - 7.62x51mm NATO / .308 Win
Operation - Gas
Feature: Can accecpt bot Belted ammunition or Box mags as shown
Similar in appearance -MG60 / MG42 Ect

Oddly enough, to me it looks less like an Light machine gun and more akin to the American Browning Automatic Rifle from the second world war.

Browning Automatic Rifle = Light machine gun
40s Era LMGs were commonly box mag feed. Though Belts had begun to appear as well in light machine gun roles.
Belts were commonly for MMGs & HMGs insted
full auto
full rifle sized rounds.
and commonly used bi pods.

This here is just a M6O / SAW based LMG able to use belted ammo and box mags.
like stoner's LMG in Vietnam

Awesome!LMGs rule! I mean basically it's like a compromise between power, accuracy and size!
